At IB Projects, the protection of personal data is a priority.

This Privacy Policy clearly explains what information we process, for what purpose, for how long, and what rights the user has. It has been drafted in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD), and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).

2. Purpose of the processing

At IB Projects, we process the personal data that the user provides to us for the following purposes:

Respond to queries, information requests and quote requests made through the forms or contact channels made available on the website.


  • Manage the professional relationship with clients, suppliers and collaborators.

  • Send communications related to the contracted or requested project, as well as maintaining contact throughout its development.

  • Comply with the legal, accounting and tax obligations applicable to the data controller.


Personal data will not be used for purposes incompatible with those described, nor will it be subject to automated decisions that produce legal effects on the user or significantly affect them.

3. Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is based on one of the following legal bases, in accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR:


  • Consent of the data subject. Granted by voluntarily completing the contact forms or information request on the website.

  • Performance of a contract. Or implementation of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject.

  • Compliance with legal obligations. Applicable to the controller, especially in tax and commercial matters.

  • Legitimate interest. Of IB Projects in maintaining fluent professional communication with clients, business contacts and collaborators.


The user may withdraw their consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.

4. Data we collect

The personal data processed are only those provided directly by the user, and generally include:

  • Contact details: email address, telephone number and, where applicable, postal address.

  • Professional data: company, position or professional affiliation, when provided by the user.

  • Message content: any information the user chooses to include in the body of their enquiry.


IB Projects does not collect or process special categories of data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR (data relating to health, ideology, religion, racial or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, etc.). The user guarantees the truthfulness and accuracy of the data provided and undertakes to communicate any changes.

5. Retention period

Personal data will be retained for as long as is strictly necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and, subsequently, for the periods legally established to address any liabilities arising from processing. In particular:


  • Data relating to enquiries not completed will be retained for a maximum period of one year from the last contact, unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • Data linked to a contractual relationship will be retained for the entire term of that relationship and, once it has ended, for the limitation periods applicable to legal actions.

  • Data associated with tax and accounting obligations will be retained for the periods provided for by the applicable regulations.


Once those periods have elapsed, the data will be blocked and, once any possible liabilities are time-barred, deleted.

6. Recipients and transfers

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law. Access may be granted to service providers strictly necessary for the operation of the website and the business activity of IB Projects, such as:

  • Email and professional communication services.

  • Accounting, tax and employment advisory services.

  • Analytical tools for the operation of the website, where applicable.


All data processors are bound by the relevant contract, which ensures compliance with the GDPR. No international transfers of data outside the European Economic Area are carried out. Should any tool in future involve such transfers, the user would be duly informed and the safeguards required by the regulations would be applied.

7. User rights

The user may exercise the following rights at any time, as recognised by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD:


  • Access. Know which personal data are being processed.

  • Rectification. Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Erasure. Request the deletion of the data when they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.

  • Objection. Object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

  • Restriction. Request the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by law.

  • Portability. Receive the data in a structured, commonly used format, or request their transfer to another controller.

  • Withdrawal of consent. At any time, without retroactive effect.


To exercise these rights, the user may send a request, accompanied by a copy of their identity document, to the address hola@ib-projects.com or to the postal address indicated in section 1. A response will be provided within a maximum period of one month from receipt of the request.

The user is also informed of their right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), especially where they have not been satisfied in the exercise of their rights.

8. Security measures

IB Projects has adopted the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality of personal data, preventing its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope and purposes of the processing, as well as the risks to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects.

9. Amendments

IB Projects reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy to reflect regulatory or technical changes, or changes arising from its own activities. Any changes will be published on this same page, stating the date of the last update. Users are advised to review this document periodically.
